Hotels in Clare


The hotel we are reviewing today is Gregans Castle Hotel which is located in Ballyvaughan,Co.Clare,Ireland. This hotel is located in the Burren, Co.Clare. The Burren which is "Boireann" in Irish stands for "great rock" , this is a karst landscape in County Clare.
The area covers approx 250 square kilometres and it is one of the largest in Europe. It is surrounded by villages such as Ballyvaughan where you will find the Gregan Castle Hotel.
The Gregan Hotel is the ultimate getaway if you are looking for peace and tranquility as it is set in The Burren, you will also enjoy a great view across Galway Bay.
If you wish to visit another great landscape then The Cliffs of Moher are only a 20 minute drive from the hotel.
The hotel features some fine antique furniture and paintings and is mixed with modern Irish art.
